Producer Info
Château d’Esclans is a wine producer in Provence, specializing in full-bodied, dry rosé wines. It is most famous for its top-of-the-range Garrus cuvée, which is one of the most important (and highly priced) rosé wines in Provence, and for its entry-level Whispering Angel Rosé, which is distributed around the world.
The château is located on an elevated site a way inland, between Saint-Tropez and Cannes on the coast. About 44 hectares (110 acres) are under vine, with Grenache, Mourvèdre, Cinsaut, Rolle and Syrah all represented. Some of the Grenache vines at the highest elevations are up to 90 years old, making then some of the oldest vines in Provence. These low-yielding vines give the d’Esclans wines concentration and richness.

Winemakers Notes
As a negociant and vinificateur (winery), Caves d’esclans identifies vineyards, grapes and wines from chateau Esclans as well as local growers to make what has reputedly become the worlds greatest rose. As our objective is to obtain the best quality grapes and wines, we have created relationships with the local grape growers, committed beside Caves d’Esclans, whose vineyards are treated with the same high standards of quality as are the vineyards of Chateau Esclans.
